Peek, split view and Flechinha
Links you open from a pinned tab or a favorite that would open a new tab show in Peek instead: a floating card over the page. Read it, then let it go.
- Esc, a click outside the card or the ✕ closes it.
- Open as Tab keeps it as a regular tab.
- Links you open from inside a Peek open as tabs.
To open those links as tabs instead, turn off Settings › Tabs › Open links from pinned tabs in Peek.
Split view
Section titled “Split view”Show two pages side by side.
- Drag a tab onto the page and drop it on the left or right half.
- Or right-click a tab and choose Open in Split View.
- Or press ⌃⇧=: the command bar opens in split mode, so pick an open tab or type an address.
Drag the gap between the pages to resize them. Each Space remembers its split and its size.
To leave, press ⌃⇧- or choose Exit Split View in the tab menu. A split shows in the sidebar as one row, Split view.
Responsive view uses the same split to put a phone-sized copy of the page next to it.
Flechinha
Section titled “Flechinha”A Flechinha is a small, separate window for a quick look, like Arc’s Little Arc.
- ⌥⌘N opens an empty one; type an address or a search.
- Open in Flechinha in a tab’s menu moves that page into one.
- Links from other apps, like Slack, Mail or the terminal, open in a Flechinha when Flecha is your default browser. Turn this off in Settings › Tabs › Open links from other apps in Flechinha.
Inside a Flechinha, ⌘L edits the address, ⇧⌘C copies the link and Esc closes the window. To keep the page, click Open in Flecha or press ⌘O: it moves into the current Space as a Today tab.
