Developer tools in Flecha
Flecha is built for the loop of edit, reload, check staging and ship. Next to Chromium’s own DevTools (⌥⌘I) it adds these.
Environments
Section titled “Environments”Group a project’s origins once, then move any page between them with its path, query and hash intact.
-
Open Settings › Environments › Add Project.
-
Name the project and list one environment per line, as
label origin:local http://localhost:3000staging https://staging.example.comprod https://example.com -
On any of those origins, press ⌥⌘E to go to the next environment, or type
envin the command bar to pick one.
The address bar shows the label as a badge so you never edit production by accident. The colour comes from the name: green for localhost, 127.0.0.1, .test, .local or a label like local; amber for names with stag, preview, qa, test, dev, sandbox or uat; red for everything else.
Responsive view
Section titled “Responsive view”Press ⌥⌘M to open a phone-sized copy of the page next to the full one.
- It’s 393 px wide at 3× pixel density, with touch and an Android Chrome user agent, so mobile layouts and touch handlers kick in.
- It follows the desktop side as you navigate.
- Press ⌥⌘M again, or ⌃⇧-, to close it.
Your dev servers in the sidebar
Section titled “Your dev servers in the sidebar”Servers running on your Mac show up on their own under Running locally, in the sidebar and on the new tab page. Click one to switch to its tab, or open it.
- Flecha checks a few dozen common dev ports, such as 3000, 4321, 5173, 6006, 8000 and 8080.
- Each server is named after its page title, or
localhost:port. - The list refreshes every few seconds while Flecha is in front.
Console errors on local tabs
Section titled “Console errors on local tabs”Tabs on localhost, 127.0.0.1, .localhost, .local or .test show a red badge with their number of console errors, uncaught exceptions and failed requests. Click it to open DevTools on the Console. The count resets on each page load.
- Command bar:
gh 482opens the pull request, npm, mdn, caniuse, and JWT and timestamp decoding. - Boosts: your own TypeScript and CSS on any site.
- Coding agents: let Claude Code or Cursor read and drive your tabs.
- ⇧⌘C copies the link, ⌥⌘C as a Markdown link, ⇧⌘2 copies a screenshot of the page.
